Description: The T20 iCorr cryo TEM is from the FEI Tecnai G2 Family, a high-resolution cryo TEM attached with the iCorr technology enabling users a streamlined approach to correlative microscopy to perform both fluorescent light and electron microscopy together in one single instrument, without ever moving the sample. Hence, it eliminates sample contamination and preserves the accuracy and context of the image data. This integrated approach removes the challenges with conducting correlative microscopy experiments and opens up new dimensions for biological research. This electron microscope is equipped with a TWIN lens.
Key features:
40-200kV
LaB6 filament
TWIN PP Objective Lens
Computer-controlled compustage
+/- 80o single tilt specimen stage
Cryobox
Gatan 626 cryo specimen holder
Gatan Ultrascan US4000 4k Camera
Point-point resolution: 0.34 nm; Line resolution: 0.2 nm<\LI>
You are required to have at least 10 hours of previous experience on any modern FEI TEM with compustage in order to be qualified for T20 training. Instructions to become a user can be found here: EICN Become a User. Training can be requested by emailing eicnhelp@cnsi.ucla.edu. If you do not receive a reply within 48 hours, you can email Matthew Mecklenburg (mmecklenburg@cnsi.ucla.edu) to follow up.
