Computational Data and Imaging Science

The CNSI Center for Computational Data and Imaging Science (CDIS) will be a purpose-built technology resource that provides researchers an infrastructure for processing and analysis of scientific data, mainly in the form of images acquired using advanced microscopes housed in the CNSI Technology Centers. The CDIS will include a computational cluster and peta-scale, parallel file system which will utilize new connections, up to 100Gbps, through CNSI’s existing fiber infrastructure to support high-throughput data transfer, short-term storage, and advanced analytical methods.
