| Description: The BioSafety Cabinet Multidrop is designated for dispensing biohazardous or sterile reagents or cells into 96 or 384-well plates. Please inform the MSSR supervisor of any hazardous material that will be used in the BioSafety Cabinet. Additionally, please reserve the BioSafety cabinet when using the Multidrop. This system is an automated dispenser designed for high-throughput screening and microvolume dispensing into 384- and 96-well plates. It can easily switch from 96- to 384- well plates and dispense up to 8 different liquids simultaneously. The greatest advantages of the Multidrop 384 dispenser are its high speed and automation. The multidrop can fill 20 l of reagent into a 384-well plate in less than 20 seconds or a 96-well plate in five seconds. Dispensing volumes of 15-100 l for 384-well plates and 15-395 l for 96- well plates can be utilized. Any number of columns can be selected, from 1-24 for 384-well plates and from 1-12 for 96-well plates. All reagent lines can be back-flushed into the reagent bottle, minimizing the loss of expensive reagents. To ensure sterility and avoid cross-contamination for micro-biological applications, the dispensing cassette is detachable and can be sterilized. |
