Description: The FlexStation is a microplate reader for fluorescence-based assays. It has the ability to read plates in a 96-well or 384-well format. The system offers flexibility in developing functional enzymatic/cellular assays and analyzing real time kinetic data. Assays from microplates can be read in endpoint fluorescence or kinetic modes over a variety of excitation and emission wavelengths. Users wishing to use the FlexStation must first have their assay protocol reviewed a MSSR administrator and adapted to the hardware. Additionally, users of non-MSSR approved microplates will need to have a custom plate format generated by MSSR personnel prior to performing plate reads. |
